Electrician: Weisman Electric Company
Weisman Electric Company wrapped up construction on a new advanced distribution center in Lanham, MD for Baldor. Beginning as Balducci’s fruit stand in Greenwich Village in 1946, Baldor is one of the largest importers and distributors of fresh produce and specialty foods in the Northeast and MidAtlantic regions. This new facility boasts massive warehouse space for food storage, office personnel and numerous delivery vehicle access points. Additionally, Weisman Electric Company sourced and installed a one megawatt generator to provide backup power for the massive facility. For reference, a megawatt of electricity is enough to power between 400 to 1,000 homes depending on consumption. The project was spearheaded by A&E Construction, Weisman Electric Company and a number of other trades helping to bring it to fruition from start to finish.
